When we think of health, we tend to think first of physical health, of the condition of our physical bodies and the care we give to them. The body houses the “ who” of who we are, and is an important structure to maintain in good condition!

It is not, however, the whole story of who we are; of our beings. We are spiritual beings in human bodies. So as we care for our physical bodies, we need to bear in mind that we are caring for deeper structures as well.

These structures include the psychological, social, spiritual, and emotional aspects of who we are. If these parts are not balanced and lovingly cared for, we suffer the effects of it, which can manifest in depression, loneliness, anxiety, lethargy and loss of interest, low energy, and a myriad of other symptoms of an imbalanced life.

In the process of working with a Life Coach, we explore all aspects of health, and learn to holistically care for ourselves to insure our physical, social, psychological, spiritual, and emotional health so that when we are ready to retire (or shift gears with what we are doing) we will be strong and balanced; ready for whatever life offers!
